Social Circle is a historic community located some 50 miles east of Atlanta in the Historic Heartlands section of Georgia in rural Walton County. The population is approximately 5000.
We are a small town with a big heart and we are a community proud of its history. We are actively seeking ways to maintain our small town atmosphere, to preserve our quality of life, and to create the best business climate for quality growth.

May 31, 2013 2013 City of Social Circle Lawn Maintenance Bid Package posted here
The City of Social Circle is seeking proposals for lawn maintenance services. A bid package can be obtained on this web page or in person at 166 N. Cherokee Road, Social Circle, GA 30025.

May 8, 2013 PROPOSED 2013-2014 BUDGET POSTED HERE
The Proposed 2013-2014 Budget for the City of Social Circle is available for public review in City Hall, 166 N Cherokee Road, Social Circle, GA 30025 M-F 8AM - 4:30 PM and on this web page. On Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at 6:30 PM, Mayor and Council will hold a public hearing to allow public comment regarding the budget. All interested parties are invited to attend. The Budget will be considered for adoption on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 6:30 PM. Both meetings will be held in the Community Room at 138 E. Hightower Trail.
HYDRANT FLUSH Ken Zaydel - Fire Chief - 770-464-2380
The City of Social Circle will be flushing/flowing Fire Hydrants the month of April 2013. When the hydrants are flushed in your area you may experience some stained water coming from your faucets. You can clear your water lines by turning on an outside water faucet until the water clears up. Sorry for any inconvenience.
