Social Circle is a historic community located some 45 miles east of Atlanta in the Historic Heartlands section of Georgia in rural Walton County. The population is approximately 5000.

Surplus Property Auction On January 22, 2016 the City of Social Circle will have a surplus property bid auction. Interested parties may come and post a bid on any item of interest between the hours of 8am and 12pm. The bidding will be in public and at the end of the day the highest bidder will become the successful bidder and will be notified. Additionally, all materials must be removed by the successful bidder at the end of the day. All property can be viewed and bids place at 771 Vine Circle, Social Circle, GA 30025.
